October 18

This post is dedicated to my best friend in the world, Sachi Rebecca Cooper. I usually tell people to follow my people that get shout outs on my blog. Since she doesn't have a Twitter, you can follow her on Instagram...if you can find her. I don't know if I'm allowed to give out a username or not.

I want to set this story up well. I come out of the locker room in 1st period and go over to Caroline. "I want to say this without sounding mad at you," I begin.

This post is dedicated to Sachi because of the only drama that happened today. In Excel, I got called down to Ms. Gagen, the counselor's office. Upon my arrival, I found a sobbing Megan. Yes, this is another one of those posts about Megan. I did as I was told and had a seat.

"Megan was feeling pretty sad this morning and wanted to talk to you," Ms. Gagen said. Understate, much?

Megan: "Oh god, I'm probably just going to burst into tears while I'm saying this. I was texting Caroline last night and she told me that she was going over to your house on Saturday night for a sleepover to celebrate Dannii's birthday." Me: Shit.

Megan: "It just hurt that you didn't invite me because I always try my best to invite you to EVERYTHING." Me: And when was the last time I actually came?

Ms. Gagen: "Can you explain to Megan why you didn't invite her to the party? You didn't purposely exclude her, did you?"

Me: "No, no." Well, yes. "It's just that—" It's just that sentences that start like that are always lies. "It's just that, my dad didn't want me to invite too many people, because my mom's going to be out of town, and he didn't think he would be able to handle to many screaming teenage girls. So he told me I could only invite three people." See, I told you. Lies.

Me: "So, I invited Caroline and Sachi and Katie because they sent in things for the video. And there isn't anything from you in the video, I've seen it."

Megan: "But that's because I didn't know where to send my video clip, and I didn't even know I was supposed to make one."

Me: "Oh, yeah, that was my fault." Oops!

Ms. Gagen: "Why is that your fault?"

Me: "I didn't send her the link..." Like I said...oops!

Ms. Gagen: "Well, it looks like Grace made the decision pretty subjectively [does that make sense? I'm not sure that's the word she used], by who was in the video and who wasn't."

Ms. Gagen: "Is there anything else you'd like to say to Grace?"

Megan: "I guess at one point I thought I was a better friend to you than Sachi." Me: Bitch! I would give up the world for Sachi and you have never done shit for me! When there's a vaction from school, I think of Sachi, and I count down the seconds until I get to see her again. I think of you, and I thank God for the week off. This wasn't exactly what I thought at all, but that's what I'm thinking now that I should've been thinking then. It makes a nice addition.

That's where I'm going to stop. That's the important part. That's why this post is dedicated to Sachi. Because I love her, and that is probably the absolute worst thing I've ever heard Megan say about anyone. Even though, technically speaking, it was about herself. But still.

I just now realized that even though Sachi is the best friend I've ever had, ever, no one knows about it. I have my little circle of friends that I hang out with (Megan, Caroline, Maggie, Belle, CC, etc), and that's what I'm known for. Sachi has her little circle of friends (Elena, Jenny, Eva, Livia, Sophia, etc), and that's what she's known for. I get it. Sachi is way out of my league. Last year, she wasn't as much. She was gorgeous, but she was a nerd like me (not that she isn't still, haha). It was believable that we were friends. Me and her and Rae and Anna, we were the Unbeatable Four. That's really how I thought of us. Until Sachi and Rae had a fight...but that's another story. I still sat with my crowd at lunch, but I hung with them in my other classes. This year...it's so different. Sachi has risen to a whole new level of popular, one that I never knew existed. One that I'm actually jealous of. But it makes me mad that people don't know we're such good friends.

It's true, we do most of our communication via email. That's how I first met her. Last year, when I met her on Google Buzz, I did think she was uber popular. Then I realized she was just like me. Now I feel like she's too uber popular for me again. Maybe it's just a phase, though. Maybe, at the beginning of every year, I'll feel so left out of her life. Maybe it'll change as the year goes on. But my point is, I miss her. I keep count of the number of times she says hi to me in the hall. It's amazing that she does that, more than words can say. The best feeling in the world. I die a little bit inside the days that I don't see her at all. And no one knows.

Believe it or not, this post was about Sachi. It might've seemed like it was about Megan. It wasn't. It was about Sachi. After saying that, Megan doesn't deserve to have a whole blog post dedicated to her. Last remark: I'm not mad at her. She's not mad at me. It's all good. She's just a bitch.

It's the best feeling in the world where you center your life around someone and don't feel like they owe you a single thing. Not a text message, not a wave, not a two-minute conversation. All you need to know is that they're there. I like that feeling.

October 14

I know it's been about a century since I last posted. Id like to apologize. I got lazy. I know that's not a good excuse, but it's the one I'm giving you. So. You have got a lot to catch up on.

First and foremost, I'd like to announce that Dannii's birthday video by Nicola Hayes has been posted on YouTube as of yesterday, the 13th! You can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM-k7rIOQTM&feature=plcp :) Note: Last I checked, it's cant be played on mobile, so...get on your computer right now and watch it! It's amazing! Nicola put tons of work into this video and it sure paid off. I suggest you also go right now and follow her on Twitter: @nicolakirstie_ My friends Katie, Sachi, Caroline, and I all contributed and are honored to have taken part in this celebration of Dannii minogue's birthday. The four of us are also having a party on Saturday for her, which we are all very excited about :D

Next, I must announce that we had a chastity lesson at Sunday school today. I'll say no more than the fact that I totally and wholeheartedly disagreed with every part of it. I don't mean you any offense if you are a devout Christian, but I just don't understand it. You're either married to a man, single, or a nun. Some bullshit, that is.

I must, of course, mention the two totally awesome things I've just received in the mail! The first one, from my pen pal Lucy in England, contained more Doctor Who stuff than you can imagine, along with some quality British stuff (namely Cadbury's because she's heard American chocolate sucks. Also Blackpool rock?). I am really grateful to have an awesome friend like her, and now must send her something equally awesome in return. Any ideas? What do we have in America that isn't in the UK? And please don't say bad attitudes or excess fat. Not funny. The second thing I received in the mail was from Emma in South Australia. Dannii Minogue CD's! They came yesterday, coinciding with the premiere of the video. How perfect is that? Now I have mucho Dannii music on my iPod, most of which I still haven't heard, but am really happy to have. Everyone, while you've still got Twitter up, follow @emmafromoz because she is so awesome.

Now, what haven't I been doing this week? Sadly, writing my book. I've picked up my journal once or twice, but I'm simply not as excited about it as I used to be. I'm

Do anything you can to
get me back in the mood! My Internet free week, which starts Sunday, October 21, should do a great deal of help. I'm not going to lay around moping on the couch, having forgotten what the purpose of the week was: to write! No, I am going to write, I'm going to get the fuck out of Chapter 24, you're going to figure out the

Sorry that paragraph kind of fell apart. The point is, I haven't been writing. My iPod got kinda funky there, so I had to erase part of that section, and the end of it is going to be randomly at the bottom. So. Now onto the best part of this post: Cheryl Fucking Cole. On Saturday (I think), I tweeted Daniel something along the lines of "I'm giving Girls Aloud a chance. What songs should I listen to?" He was probably shocked. I was surprised at myself, too. I hated anything to do with Cheryl Cole. I'm kind of...what's the word...paranoid? from Dannii's X Factor era, when, in my opinion, Cheryl was totally bitchy and shit. But I was being really biased in saying that because, as you all know, I adore Dannii, so it came naturally to hate Cheryl. I mean, didn't Dannii leave — oh, I'm not even going to get into that. Point is, and I try to get straight to the point as often as possible, I now hate to love Cheryl. Girls Aloud is amazing. I love the songs The Show, Wake Me Up, Untouchable, and all the other ones Daniel suggested for me. I also love Cheryl's songs Under The Sun, The Flood, and A Million Lights. It's just not fair how much I love her music. Thanks a lot, Daniel. No, but really, thanks. If you weren't so in love with Cheryl, I would've had no desire whatsoever to listen to her music. For being the only person to be able to sway me from hating someone to liking them a whole lot, follow @iamdanieljlacey :) And go listen to some Girls Aloud while you're at it. Daniel, Cheryl is more than just hot now.

I will leave you with song lyrics. I know there's probably a million things I forgot to mention, like how I almost dies this morning when our Internet didn't work because I couldn't listen to Cheryl Cole, or how I got another under 9 minute mile time on Friday. But it's past my bedtime and I need to listen to a few songs before I go to sleep. "I don't know how we fell through. Got a little too much in my head, like I miss you. A million lights behind you. I'm a little too much in the dark

here without you."

Random paragraph ending below... :/

missing piece of the puzzle, and that is that. Drama is coming, people. Don't you worry.

October 9

The package my pen pal, Lucy, sent me from England arrived today! What she got me is amazing! It's mostly Doctor Who stuff, and A LOT of it. Pages of the magazine, a poster, bookmarks, stickers, little figurines, etc. I love it all! She also sent me a cool little thing with my name on it, Blackpool Rock, and Cadbury chocolate, because she's heard that we have bad chocolate. I have a lot to live up to! Are there any things you can think of that can only be bought in America? I need to think of some American things to get her..

Tomorrow is going to be a long day. First of all, we are going to the Kennedy Center! If you haven't ward of that, and this is probably going to be the only time I say this, you are a very culturally unaware foreigner. We're going to see an opera. The whole school. All...700ish of us. And in case you were not aware, we do this EVERY YEAR. We have to dress up too. I'm wearing what I wore to my friend's bat mitzvah (which, by the way, was amazing, and I had my eye on this really hot girl the whole time), because I looked amazing. My teacher thinks I am going to freeze, but I'm going to wear it anyway. I look beautiful. And I don't usually say that. Then...I have an orchestra concert. I have to stay after school until 5, when it starts. It's in costume (Halloween costume), which is the part I'm worried about. My fairy costume right now SUCKS. No joke. I have wings, and that's about it. It'll be good for my Halloween parties though, I can promise you that. I just need a little more time. If you thought of Kylie Minogue right there, I like you.

In Drama today, I had lots of fun :D Ms. Huber was blocking with the Rude Mechanicals (Midsummer Night's Dream, in case you haven't been reading my blog before). The rest of us were supposed to write music to use in the play using Garage Band on the iPads. The only problem was, garage Band wasn't on any of the iPads. So we just got to play around with them :) I did some spin art, played Factor Samurai, my favorite nerd game, and eventually got bored an opened the Maps app. I looked up driving directions from Arlington to Adelaide, Australia. They take you the most bizarre way! You drive all the way up to Washington, and, get this, the next step is "Sail across the pacific Ocean." Insane! On the way, you have to stop in Hawaii and Japan too. Whoever designed this route needs some help. During this class I also discovered the Spice Girls' new musical...

Viva Forever! is the name of the musical, and also the name of their song which I have never heard. I really want to see it while I'm in London, and I'm trying to convince my parents, even of we have to get standing tickets. I don't know any of their songs except for one (Goodbye), and I haven't seen them perform. Anywhere. Oh, except for the closing ceremony. But I've bothered to learn all of their names and spices, which takes some effort. And I've picked a favorite: Geri Halliwell. I heard of her first, so it's only fair. She's the one that kissed Kylie Minogue on that show. It was so freaking hot I didn't even bother to find out what her occupation was. Then, thanks to one of Daniel's random tweets, I found out, and I felt like an idiot. Thanks, Daniel. I know it's ironic that Goodbye is my favorite song of theirs, because Geri isn't in that one. It's rather funny, actually. But Emma Bunton is my next favorite. What can I say? I'm a sucker for blondes. They're both super hot.

I'm waiting to see who gets eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. I totally zoned on the fact that there was a double elimination this week, and I voted for everyone except Bristol Palin. I voted for Sabrina twice. Maks looked surprisingly hot with his Jagger wig and no facial hair. Kirstie, keep him like that. Peta and Gilles were sexy, as always. Melissa was surprisingly good, 1st place! I missed Drew and Anna, which is kind of depressing, but I got to see it today, so it's all good. Drew got Anna to do sexy on this "celebs get creative control" week, and it was...sexy. Anna should do that more often. Anyway, everyone was amazing, Bristol was snobby and crying and they had a weird dance wih weird music, and i can't wait to see what'll happen.

I don't remember what my inspiring quote from Ms. Parkhurst was this week, n's I'm too lazy to get up and look. So I have no clue how to end. Uh...go blow in the breeze or something. Kylie out xx

I'm so bad. I haven't blogged in days. I haven't written in my book either. I've been busy...ranking every single Kylie Minogue song I know! After using up all my green post it notes and having many fall off my door overnight, I am done. After counting and miscounting the list of songs, I am done. singles was hard :P

October 4

Today I'm determined to make it through a whole post. Maybe I'll just make a list and go from there:

VJAS
Dannii video
My book, since it's been a while
The presidential debate
PE
Chinese
Music (broad topic, I know)
My Dannii Minogue rant
Something happy (e.g. Paris, puppies, etc)

VJAS. Virginia Junior Academy of Science. This is what is smarticles like me do for the science fair now. It's basically what everyone else is doing, just harder. Luckily, we don't have to stick to the eight topics the other kids do. But we still can't work with people or animals without filling out loads and loads of paperwork. My project is this: The effect of changing the part of the rugby ball that hits your foot on the accuracy of hitting a target. I picked this because I wanted to do something with the awesome sport of rugby, because I figured no one else would be doing that. During camp this summer, I noticed that whenever I kicked the rugby ball, it never went where I wanted it to. Sure, oftentimes you're just kicking for touch and it doesn't matter where it goes, but I want to know if it could be aimed. Sure, I could probably get this question answered by anyone who plays rugby, but that would spoil the whole thing. So I figured, maybe what part of the ball you kick affects its accuracy. Why not? Now to turn on the juice and see what shakes loose!

Dannii video. Not much to say here, just another reveal. Which is always exciting, of course :) the THIRD song in the video is Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Can you believe the video is so long that three songs were needed? Dannii must have a lot of fans (no, duh!) We all can't wait to see the final, Nicola! Tomorrow's "behind the scenes" preview sounds intriguing too!

My book. Kylie, I Love You. Sadly, I didn't even write anything yesterday. I'm going to give you a summary of the next chapter. I think the last one I did was Chapter Two, so I'll do Chapter Three: Wow. Dylan goes home after they have dinner, but neither him nor Kylie can fall asleep. Naturally, Kylie pumps up the music. Did I mention she can't sing anymore? Yeah, that's why she's laying around in Adelaide instead of touring the universe and whatnot. So she's dancing around the room, and Dylan is watching her intently, realizing for the first time how totally entranced by her he is. Anyway, Kylie opens her window and is like, "Chessie, get over here!" and he's about to reply, when their rude neighbor (he'll come back later) shushes them. Then Dylan goes over to Kylie's house, and they have good talk, because that seems to be their thing now. Talking. Kylie tells him all about how she broke up with Andres Velencoso, which I now feel bad about writing, because he's an absolute darling and I love him. But what I wrote...poor Kylie. The end of Kylie's speech was: When I look back at all the ups and downs of our relationship, all I can think is...wow.

The presidential debate. A topic which I was hoping to avoid but am forcing myself to talk about. I don't have much to say, though. I didn't watch. Maggie said Mitt Romney wanted to outlaw gay marriage, so I'm not ashamed to call him a SOB or worse, a homophobe. He doesn't know what we go through. He's just a little, schooled white boy, who
hasn't figured out that the real way you learn is by experiencing. By people. Not by textbooks. I didn't watch the debate because I already know I'm voting Obama. Obama's just so real, such a genuine person. I didn't watch the debate because I had not interest in watching scripted men read about the crap that they care about and shouldn't. I apologize if I'm coming across as an anarchist.

In PE we are putting on the Nutcracker! My class is doing the battle scene between the mice and the soldiers, and today I found out I'm a soldier. I'm not sure if that's good or not, because I could've gone either way. In case you haven't noticed, I'm making my paragraphs shorter and shorter because I'm losing sight of my list of topics.

See, now I can't see anything on the list
above my Dannii rant, but I remember Chinese being on there. Sorry if I missed anything in between. I almost diesel in Chinese class today,
because we had a test on writing characters to say: Hello! May I ask, what is your honorable surname? What is your name? My surname is _____,
my name is _____. Aka 你好!请问,你贵姓? 叫什么名字? 我姓 Young, 叫 Grace. I nearly failed. God.

I'm going to save the Dannii rant for some other time, it's not that important. I'll just say I totally ranted about Dannii's X Factor era. It wasn't pretty. I'll leave you with something happy, ms. Parkhurt's motivational quote of the week: If you see someone without a smile today, give them one of yours.

October 3

Aha! (Always a great way to start a blog post) I have just changed my name on Twitter! It used to be Tyler Jane-Berger, but now it's Graceling Minogue, which I think suits me much more. I honestly don't know why Tyler Jane-Berger was my name in the first place. I didn't want to use my real name, so I kind of just stuck some stuff together and got attached. But no more! Graceling Minogue I am, so get used to it. My username is still the same, though (@heartheartkms).

My Twitter friend (@emmafromoz) is selling me CDs! She's got an extra copy of Dannii Minogue's Neon Nights, Girl, and Love and Kisses. I'm so happy, because I only have one Dannii song on my iPod and I think all the other ones I know are from Neon Nights, which is pretty sad. This is why I don't claim to be Dannii's biggest fan, I'm obviously nowhere near it. I'm also trying to get my hands on My Story, so if anyone's willing to sell me that, I'm game. So, Emma, here is your shoutout. Follow @emmafromoz on Twitter, because she rocks! Did I mention she's from my favorite, favorite, FAVORITE city EVER!? Guess where...Adelaide!

The third reveal for @nicolakirstie_ 's Dannii Birthday video is up on @irynakim 's blog: http://livelearnshineon.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1 So far, she's announced that the song for the video is Higger by Taio Cruz and Kylie Minogue (which, when mentioned, I never fail to say that was originally written for Kylie!). She's also given us a hint about the opening of the video. Today she announced that...there's a second song in the video! Drive By by Train (at least, I think it's by Train)! I'm getting more and more excited to see the video every day!!

This act should be kind of depressing, but it's really not. I like it how every single one of the people I've mentioned so far in this post I only know off of Twitter. So what? Who cares? Okay, that is kind of sad, but I'm not ashamed that my world revolves around Twitter. It's the only way I know other Kylie fans, to be honest, because NO ONE around here is cool enough to have heard of her, unless theyve seen Doctor Who (but of course, that shouldn't really count).

Oh, crap, I forgot to finish this again. I hate doing this, but I'm just going to stop this now :( Also, what do you think about Project D London for the 8th grade formal next school year? I know Dannii'll probably have something new by then, but a girl's gotta have something to look forward to, right? Woooo!!
