October 9

The package my pen pal, Lucy, sent me from England arrived today! What she got me is amazing! It's mostly Doctor Who stuff, and A LOT of it. Pages of the magazine, a poster, bookmarks, stickers, little figurines, etc. I love it all! She also sent me a cool little thing with my name on it, Blackpool Rock, and Cadbury chocolate, because she's heard that we have bad chocolate. I have a lot to live up to! Are there any things you can think of that can only be bought in America? I need to think of some American things to get her..

Tomorrow is going to be a long day. First of all, we are going to the Kennedy Center! If you haven't ward of that, and this is probably going to be the only time I say this, you are a very culturally unaware foreigner. We're going to see an opera. The whole school. All...700ish of us. And in case you were not aware, we do this EVERY YEAR. We have to dress up too. I'm wearing what I wore to my friend's bat mitzvah (which, by the way, was amazing, and I had my eye on this really hot girl the whole time), because I looked amazing. My teacher thinks I am going to freeze, but I'm going to wear it anyway. I look beautiful. And I don't usually say that. Then...I have an orchestra concert. I have to stay after school until 5, when it starts. It's in costume (Halloween costume), which is the part I'm worried about. My fairy costume right now SUCKS. No joke. I have wings, and that's about it. It'll be good for my Halloween parties though, I can promise you that. I just need a little more time. If you thought of Kylie Minogue right there, I like you.

In Drama today, I had lots of fun :D Ms. Huber was blocking with the Rude Mechanicals (Midsummer Night's Dream, in case you haven't been reading my blog before). The rest of us were supposed to write music to use in the play using Garage Band on the iPads. The only problem was, garage Band wasn't on any of the iPads. So we just got to play around with them :) I did some spin art, played Factor Samurai, my favorite nerd game, and eventually got bored an opened the Maps app. I looked up driving directions from Arlington to Adelaide, Australia. They take you the most bizarre way! You drive all the way up to Washington, and, get this, the next step is "Sail across the pacific Ocean." Insane! On the way, you have to stop in Hawaii and Japan too. Whoever designed this route needs some help. During this class I also discovered the Spice Girls' new musical...

Viva Forever! is the name of the musical, and also the name of their song which I have never heard. I really want to see it while I'm in London, and I'm trying to convince my parents, even of we have to get standing tickets. I don't know any of their songs except for one (Goodbye), and I haven't seen them perform. Anywhere. Oh, except for the closing ceremony. But I've bothered to learn all of their names and spices, which takes some effort. And I've picked a favorite: Geri Halliwell. I heard of her first, so it's only fair. She's the one that kissed Kylie Minogue on that show. It was so freaking hot I didn't even bother to find out what her occupation was. Then, thanks to one of Daniel's random tweets, I found out, and I felt like an idiot. Thanks, Daniel. I know it's ironic that Goodbye is my favorite song of theirs, because Geri isn't in that one. It's rather funny, actually. But Emma Bunton is my next favorite. What can I say? I'm a sucker for blondes. They're both super hot.

I'm waiting to see who gets eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. I totally zoned on the fact that there was a double elimination this week, and I voted for everyone except Bristol Palin. I voted for Sabrina twice. Maks looked surprisingly hot with his Jagger wig and no facial hair. Kirstie, keep him like that. Peta and Gilles were sexy, as always. Melissa was surprisingly good, 1st place! I missed Drew and Anna, which is kind of depressing, but I got to see it today, so it's all good. Drew got Anna to do sexy on this "celebs get creative control" week, and it was...sexy. Anna should do that more often. Anyway, everyone was amazing, Bristol was snobby and crying and they had a weird dance wih weird music, and i can't wait to see what'll happen.

I don't remember what my inspiring quote from Ms. Parkhurst was this week, n's I'm too lazy to get up and look. So I have no clue how to end. Uh...go blow in the breeze or something. Kylie out xx
