Today's date is Septembet 27th, 2012. The first thing that I'm going to address is my abundance of names. My pen name is Melody Jade, as in Melody Pond from Doctor Who, and Jade just because it sounds pretty. My Twitter name is Tyler Jane-Berger, Tyler as in Rose Tyler from Doctor Who, and Jane-Berger, my friend Caroline's middle and last name, because we love the way Gareth David-Lloyd smushed his middle and last name together. My name on email is Grace Amy Pond, Grace because it's my first name, and Amy Pond from Doctor Who. I've also used the pseudonyms Raelynn Prentice, Salome Violetta, and Anonymous. My real name is Grace Young...but you can call me either that or Mels, which I've recently realized always autocorrects to Mel's :)
Now I will address 7th period with a crude list that may eventually turn into a poem.
List of nice things:
She said I've been looking nice this week
She lent me a highlighter
She wanted to sit with me in Orchestra
List of not-so-nice things she said:
Ha, you're fat.
Your clothes don't usually reflect how pretty you are.
You only smile with your teeth.
You never laughed last year.
You sound monotone on the phone.
Your expression is always so blank and hard to read.
I don't want to leave you confused, so here's an explanation. I'm having a fight with my friend Megan. I think I posted about that yesterday. All the bad things are building up, and that makes it hard to remember the good things. In 7th period Social Studies today, we were in the computer lab. Megan and I took our usual seats in the top row, where we always used to sit in math last year. Maggie and CC sat up there with us. Apparently we were making too much noise and not getting anything done, and Ms. Stephens came to tell us that one of us had to move. None of us wanted to. I got up to get a timeline for the project we were working up, and when I came back, Megan was in tears and picking up her stuff to move. I had no idea what had just happened, but Ms. Stephens took Megan out into the hall to talk. When Ms. Stephens came back in, she came up to tell Maggie and CC and I how Megan was strong enough to volunteer and none of us were. That totally pissed me off, because I had wanted to be the one to leave, but I wanted to prove to Ms. Stephens that the four of us could still be trusted to work together. Guess not. But I was mad that Megan wasn't mature enough to leave her friends without crying, and she still got props from the teacher.
I guess what I'm trying to get across is that I don't know what to do with Megan. She didn't talk to me for the remainder of 7th period, but in 8th, she acted like nothing had happened. Maybe I'm overreacting, but like I said, it's a build-up of everything. It's like when Dannii and Louis had a fight on X Factor about her stealing his song. She started crying, and looking like a total baby, but it wasn't just from that. She'd had a hard season and that was exactly what she didn't need to happen. I might lose it if Megan says something mean one more time. Help me, please, anyone.
On a lighter note, I will address my Dancing with the Stars brackety thing:
1st place: Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson
2nd place: Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
3rd place: Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough
4th place: Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel
5th place: Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff
6th place: Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke
7th place: Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower
8th place: Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
9th place: Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya
10th place: Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy
11th place: Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani
12th place: Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
13th place: Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus
My 1st place is purely heart voting, not head voting. It's unlikely that they'll get that far, but I'm a HUGE Kym fan. I put my other Aussie up there too, but I really do believe they'll do well. And I know for sure I got at least one right, because Pam+Tristan already got eliminated (which is extremely not cool).
On another light note, today was picture day! I looked presentable, but I never look great. Mackenzie an Sachi really stole the show, but then again, they ALWAYS look great.
Sorry to cut this short, but today's date is September 27. Inspirational thought: People are only as happy as they let themselves be. ---Abraham Lincoln
